Free parking is available on-site for all society members and guests.
Request Archival Access
Schedule an in-person appointment with society curators. We prepare relevant town ledgers, manuscripts, and photographic boxes ahead of your visit.
Standard Research Hours
Tuesday & Thursday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Closed Sundays, Mondays, and town holidays.

Preserving fragile Massachusetts colonial records and family collections.
Handling & Preservation
Only pencils and electronic notebooks are permitted in the reading area. Nitrile and cotton gloves are provided for examining photographic prints and vellum records.
Advance Material Retrieval
Items housed in climate-managed vault cabinets require 48 hours notice so staff may safely stage boxes prior to researcher check-in.
Digital Photography
Non-flash photography of select public town ledgers is permitted for personal research use, subject to curator review and item condition.
